Help me understand.

My initial thought upon reading the chain is that the elimination would be -7 rather than -1 because if the 7 is true in the 1st term, then r9c6 would =31.

If r4c6<>1 then r9c6=3 through the chain.

Obviously. Obviously not obvious to me. The ALS threw me off. I was staring at the the cell with the 7 as if it was a bivalue 17.
