Hi,

A month:?:

Just check a Line-Box-Interaction between row 3 and the top-left 3x3 box.

Ruud.

I believe what Ruud is referring to is commonly called Locked Candidates - one number in row 3 can only be placed in box 1, which allows you to eliminate that number from the remaining cells in box 1.

Hey guys, thank you for your help last week. I was able to solve that one in a few minutes with your excellent help.
Here is another one that I've been working on for about a month and can't make any headway on it. What is my next move?

*-------------------------------------------------------------------*
| 126 4 8 | 67 9 367 | 1235 1235 235 |
| 169 5 13 | 8 2 36 | 7 134 349 |
| 29 239 7 | 5 4 1 | 239 6 8 |
+---------------------+-------------------------+------------------|
| 3 8 59 | 269 1 69 | 4 7 256 |
| 7 6 2 | 3 5 4 | 8 9 1 |
| 4 1 59 | 269 7 8 | 235 235 2356 |
+---------------------+-------------------+-----------------------+
| 8 7 6 | 4 3 59 | 1259 125 259 |
| 159 39 4 | 179 6 2 | 359 8 3579 |
| 1259 239 13 | 179 8 579 | 6 345 34579 |
*-------------------------------------------------------------------*

Nay help will be much appreciated.

I think you'll have trouble with this one - I pasted your grid into Sadman Sudoku and apparently it has 9 solutions!
