OK, I admit it, I'm not brilliant, but I did reasonably well at the logic part of the GMATs...however, I am completely stuck on something very basic.
I grasp the essentials of Sudoku.

Why is the ONLY solution Column 6, Row 3? Why could the one not go into Column 7 or Column 8?
I do not understand how they have narrowed down ! to C6, R3.

I forgot that Block 3 already had a one, so it eliminates the columns in that block.
