And learning new techniques. I've worked on this one for a while and i'm looking for a technique to help me solve this or get further. I reserve myself for any mistake i've made or clear path i've missed since i've been on-and-off on this one for a bit.Image

Right off I see a Unique Rectangle (type 4) and a Finned X-Wing. That isn't enough to solve the puzzle, but will move you along.

There's a skyscraper of 5's.

r9c2 r9c7
r2c2 r3c7 (the strong links to row 9 forces one of these to be a 5)

so you can eliminate the 5's in r3c3 r2c8 and r2c9
