My intention is to sell my idea but not sure if this product could become populair.

The outcome of the game has a winner with the highest points.

There already is a sudoku boardgame. Saw it yesterday in W H Smiths. So clearly it is a good idea. Sadly not yours first, however. Sorry.

Maybe you could patent sudoku ringtones?

There are already 3 boardgames out there....
Two games are where players race to solve a given puzzle.
The third is called SuDoKu - Battle Lines and is not actually a puzzle solving game....It is a multiplayer combatative game where players attempt to block each others moves. (see www.ratkins.com).
