Sir,

I have become a member of this elite group sometime ago.
I am very appreciative and thankful.
A few years ago I started with easy puzzles and advanced fast and I now solve only very hard/evil puzzles. After solving, I keep a soft copy of the puzzles so that I do not repeat a puzzle. This number has swelled to 3810 by June,2015 and till now, 768 more from July, 2015.
Perhaps the members will be happy to note that i have recently got recognition of a

"National Record" by "The Limca Book of Records", India.

i am attaching a scan copy of the certificate for your viewing.
if you deem it fit, i request you to transmit to the other members of the forum.

warm regards and best wishes to all members of Sudoku Forum.

Well, that's absolutely splendid, and welcome to the forum.

Maybe you can show us which techniques you use with, for example, this puzzle:
Code: Select all
 . . . . . 1 . . 2
 . . 1 3 . . 4 . .
 . 5 . . 4 . . 1 .
 . 2 . 6 . . . . 5
 . . 6 . 3 . 7 . .
 4 . . . . 8 . 6 .
 . 6 . . 7 . . 9 .
 . . 7 . . 3 6 . .
 8 . . 9 . . . . .       champagne

Dear Mr.Mike Metcalf,
my greetings to you and thanks for your mail.
i cherish your accepting me into your fold.
the champagne you have sent is very interesting.
it has no logical solution.
i solve only such puzzles which permit logical resolution and i leave the rest.
i take 'very hard' puzzles from sudokukingdom or 'evil' from websudoku.
i dont use x wing......sword fish, jelly fish........ and such other short cuts
my success rate is 99.9% or more.
thanks once again

Dear K S Rao,
I beg to differ. Techniques such as sword fish are most definitely logic and not 'short cuts'. As such, they can be expressed as an algorithm and coded as a computer program. Here is another puzzle, much easier than champagne's. How do you get along with that?
Code: Select all
 . . . . . 1 . . 2
 . . 3 4 . . 5 . .
 . 6 . . 3 . . 7 .
 . 5 . 2 . . . . 3
 . . 8 . . . 1 . .
 7 . . . . 9 . 4 .
 . 2 . . 7 . . 9 .
 . . 1 . . 5 6 . .
 9 . . 6 . . . . .

This refers to your claim in your first post, will you please share your soft copy of the puzzles that you have solved till date so that this forum's Sudoku expert/professional/experience personal will analyze before commenting?

I believe that the size of text file containing 81 digits per line per Sudoku puzzle x (3810 + 768 + cr + lf) should be less than 365kb and after compressed by either WinZip or WinRAR or by any other common software, will be less than 200kb that will easily be uploaded here as an attachment for sharing.
