More than an x-wing?

I call on greater minds than mine for help with this puzzle.

It's a pappocom generated V.Hard that seems to need something greater than an x-wing.
It probably doesn't and I've a dunce's cap ready to don.

Code: Select all
65.  ...  .49
3..  ..8  ...
.71  9..  ...

..9  ..2  ..6
...  8.3  ...
2..  6..  8..

...  ...6 95.
...  1..  ..4
58.  ...  .61

This is the stage I've reached.

Code: Select all
658  7.1  .49
392  468  ...
471  9.5  6.8

8.9  5.2  ..6
7..  8.3  ...
2..  6..  8..

1..  .86  95.
9..  157  .84
58.  ...  .61

So. Have I overlooked the blindingly obvious or not?

There's a pair in column 7 which allows you to enter number in r9c7. The pair in box 2 also leads to eliminations in r9 which should progress things a bit. Actually, once you've done that it all falls into place so I think you must have done the "very hard" bit!

Thanks CathyW

As I said, the blindingly obvious. Dons dunce's cap.

For some reason my mind saw it, not as a pair, but as the triplet 2,3,7.

Must be the drugs-antibiotics- that clouded my mind.

I could not get as far as MCC, can you help with my next move?
My grid looks like this:

658,[237][237]1,[237]49
392,[47][467]8,[1567][17]57]
471,9[236]5.[236][23]8

8[134]9,5[147]2,[1347][137]6
[17][146][4567],8[1479]3,[12457][1279][257]
2[134][3457],6[1479][49],8[1379][357]

[17][1234][347],[234]86,95[237]
9[236][36],157,[23]84
58[347],[234][2349][49],[237]61

Hopefully my pencil notes are correct.

Tried to cancel my last post - it didn't work. I found the solution myself. Thanks anyway.
