Ok then, here is a main diagonal symmetry puzzle.

For each cell, ricj=rjci:
Code: Select all
+-------+-------+-------+
| 1 . . | . . . | . . 2 |
| . 2 . | . 5 . | 3 . 4 |
| . . 3 | . . . | 8 9 . |
+-------+-------+-------+
| . . . | 1 . . | . . . |
| . 5 . | . 2 . | . 6 . |
| . . . | . . 3 | . . . |
+-------+-------+-------+
| . 3 8 | . . . | 1 . . |
| . . 9 | . 6 . | . 2 . |
| 2 4 . | . . . | . . 3 |
+-------+-------+-------+  2 solutions

Here are some more near misses for D, where the symmetry is such that off-diagonal values obey the rule r10-i:c10-j = 10-ricj
Code: Select all
 1 . . . . . 3 9 5
 . 2 . . 3 . 6 7 1
 . . 3 . . . 8 4 2
 . . . 1 . . . . .
 . 7 . . 2 . . 3 .
 . . . . . 3 . . .
 8 6 2 . . . 1 . .
 9 3 4 . 6 . . 2 .
 5 1 7 . . . . . 3   4 solutions, but r5c8 /= 10-r8c5

 1 . . . . . 8 9 6
 . 2 . . 6 . 5 3 1
 . . 3 . . . 2 7 4
 . . . 1 . . . . .
 . 4 . . 2 . . 6 .
 . . . . . 3 . . .
 6 3 8 . . . 1 . .
 9 7 5 . 4 . . 2 .
 4 1 2 . . . . . 3    8 solutions

D for Mike:

Here a valid and minimal puzzle, with "your" symmetry:
Code: Select all
+-------+-------+-------+
| 1 . . | . . . | . . 2 |
| . 2 . | . 6 . | . 3 5 |
| . . 3 | . . . | 8 . 4 |
+-------+-------+-------+
| . . . | 1 . . | . . . |
| . 4 . | . 2 . | . 6 . |
| . . . | . . 3 | . . . |
+-------+-------+-------+
| 6 . 2 | . . . | 1 . . |
| 5 7 . | . 4 . | . 2 . |
| 8 . . | . . . | . . 3 |
+-------+-------+-------+

For the Patterns gamers,
Question E - Find the highest SE rating of a puzzle as defined here

In addition, as in the Patterns Game, the pattern must have a dihedral symmetry order between 2 to 8.
