Not the shortest approach, but here's one using uniqueness:
1) type 4 DP of 15's at r89c39 => -1 r9c3, -5 r9c9
2) type 1 DP of 19's at r59c89 => -19 r9c9
After a naked triple the state is:
Code: Select all
48     89     2      | 5      13     7      | 19     6      34
47     6      35     | 9      13     2      | 15     8      47
57     1      359    | 4      8      6      | 59     2      37
---------------------+----------------------+---------------------
1      4      6      | 2      9      5      | 7      3      8
2      5      7      | 3      6      8      | 4      9      1
9      3      8      | 7      4      1      | 2      5      6
---------------------+----------------------+---------------------
6     #2      4      | 1      5      3      | 8      7     #9
3      7      1      | 8      2      9      | 6      4      5
58    #89     59     | 6      7      4      | 3      1     #2

The avoidable rectangle at r79c29 => r9c2 = 8; stte

XY-Chain (5=7)r3c1-(7=3)r3c9-(3489=1)r1c1297-(1=5)r2c7=>r3c7<>5

But I like a three-step non-chain solution:

1) Hidden UR (15)=>r9c3<>1
2) M-Wing (59)=>r2c3<>5
3) W-Wing (34)=>r1c1<>4

Phil,

With regard to move 1, I agree with the eliminations but not the terminology. A Type 4, as I understand it, needs a strong link in r9 on either 1 or 5, whereby the other number is removed from both cells, and there is no SL on either. The eliminations are the result of what some call Hidden URs, what with an SL on 1 in c3 and an SL on 5 in c9.

Dear Marty

I stand corrected. I had the notion that 'hidden' URs required extra candidates in 3 of the 4 cells, but I now see that it is the SLs that define the category.
