Actually the chain (also a loop) is valid but the conclusion isn't. The correct conclusion is -5 r1c5, but that doesn't help much.

Very nice logic! This time the chain just has the usual problem with the missing '|'. Corrected and a bit shortened:

(1|7)r7c4 = (1)r2c4&(7)r7c5 - (1|7=5)r2c5 - r2c2 = (538-4)r1c256 = (4)r9c6 => -4 r7c4; stte

Then again, why not use 4r1c4 as the other end point? We get that directly from 5r2c5, which gives us this short beauty:

(1|7)r7c4 = (1)r2c4&(7)r7c5 - (1|7=54)b2p51 => -4 r7c4; stte

These corrections/shortenings don't take anything away from your original logic. I liked it!

That's just beautiful! Can you give some hints how to see/verify the MUG? I kind of saw there was probably something going on with the 348, but didn't get far with that idea. I'm still blind to the MUG, though I have no doubts it exists if you say so. I can only easily understand MUGs that are a combo of two URs, but this seems more complex. My head starts hurting if I try to decipher it.
