That's my standard idiom for M-Wings, grouped or not. Maybe not obvious for everyone, but the beautiful symmetry and conciseness cancel any protesting noise, as far as I'm concerned. Not many patterns can be written as one-linkers, which makes M-Wing quite nice. It's also an easy way to recognize an M-Wing if it has been (or can be) written that way.
