Marking Up

Postby Fortesque92 » Sun Jan 10, 2021 7:21 am

My current strategy is basically to markup the board using Snyder Notation, revealing as many numbers as I can. When I've exhausted that I move on to a more extensive markup. I was wondering if there was a way to know which rows or columns might be worth marking up first to find hidden pairs/ triples etc. to avoid marking up the entire board? I noticed on the Cracking the Cryptic Youtube channel they can often see pairs and triples etc. hiding in the row and columns just by examining the givens that are in surrounding cells.
