Kraken Cell r4c5:
2r4c5 - (2=4)r4c2 - r7c2 = r9c13 - 4r9c5 (center of chain reading l-to-r)
4r4c5 - 4r9c5
6r4c5 - (6=5)r5c6 - (5=4)r7c6 - 4r9c5 (center of chain reading r-to-l)

Steve, there are various ways to notate a network elimination within a chain-type expression. Upon reflection, I may not have given you the best advice in our previous exchange. For this puzzle, I would use a discontinuous (network) loop when starting with a weak link:
- Code: Select all
(4*)r9c5 - (4=5)r7c6 - (5=6)r5c6 - (*46=2)r4c5 - (2=4)r4c2 - r7c2 = r9c13 - (4)r9c5 ; stte
Here, the (*) character indicates a network relationship between <4> being true in r9c5 and not true in r4c5.
Notating network logic takes many forms ... and particular circumstances often determines what works best.
