My assumption was that, if the chain(loop) is correct, then: if 3 is not in r23c2(at the beginning of the chain) then 3 is in r8c2, but, 3 can be in r1c3 because of the weak link in 3's in BOX 1, then there is no elimination of 3 in r2c5. Thanks for putting it right.SteveG48 wrote:Ngisa wrote:

Nice loop, Clement, but you seem to have a typo. There's no 3 to eliminate at r2c5, and I don't see an elimination at r5c2. You're loop doesn't include the weak link from r8c2 to r23c2 that would give you -3 r5c2. To see what I mean, try starting by assuming that neither r2c2 nor r3c2 is a 3 and try to get around to r8c2.
I see 7 other eliminations of 3s and 8s from your chain, but none solve the puzzle.
