What to do but thank SteveG48 for his patience with me?!
Spent 10m for the logic and 3 hours to write this (simple for anybody but me!)
 code notation...
1. 1r3c9 - (1=7)r9c9 => r8c8<>7
2. 4r3c9 -  4r7c9 = (4-5)r7c8 =5r8c8 => r8c8<>7
3. 7r3c9 - 7r1c7  = 7r1c5 - 7r9c5 =7r8c4 => r8c8<>7
 => r8c8<>7; stte
I hope this time it is right...
Thank you Eleven for your patience.
But from your words I didn't get it if I should stay here or leave.
I am definitely for staying.
In the future I intend to mark my cells but today
I should have marked one and the same cell
with several letters. I preferred not to clutter the form. OK, I'll comply with this. Have a nice evening all of you guys.

Hehe, using the strong link and last digit simultaneously is allowed now ?

I think I'd call it using a locked set and strong link simultaneously.

I suppose I could have written it 4r7c8 = (4r7c9)&(157b9p259). In fact, I think you're right. No, I know you're right. The next link, (1457)b9p2359 - (1|4=7)r3c9, is technically incorrect, since you don't know the position of the digits without "remembering" the first term. Not good. My solution should have been:

4r7c8 = (4r7c9)&(157b9p259) - (1|4=7)r3c9 - r3c56 = r1c5 - (7=125)r479c5 => -5 r7c8 ; stte

Kraken column (7)r369c9 => -7 r9c5; stte
Code: Select all
(7)r3c9 - r1c7 = (7)r1c5            -7r9c5
(7-9)r6c9 = (459-7)b9p235 = (7)r8c4 -7r9c5
(7)r9c9 - r8c8 = (7)r8c4            -7r9c5

A pity to use the kraken elephant gun for a puzzle solved with so simple AIC's as:
1. (7)r9c5 = r8c4 - (7=8)r6c4 - r4c4 = r4c3 - r1c3 = (8)r1c5 => -7 r1c5
2. Kite (7)r9c5 = r9c79 - r8c8 = r4c8 => -7 r4c5; stte

Alex, both chains 2 and 3 have problems. For example, in chain 2 you have (4=19)r7c9. This means both 1 and 9 are true in r7c9 (if 4 is false). That can't be true. Then you have (5=4)r7c8. Where is the link to the 5 from the preceding term? The next term has the same problem with the 7. All the issues are fixable, so please try again.

You won't be the first to express sentiments such as this and you won't be the last. I don't see why you can't combine these two moves into one :

Code: Select all
(7)r9c5 =  r8c4 - (7=8) r6c4 - r4c4 = r4c3 - r1c3 = (8) r1c5;

        \ r9c79 - r8c8                            = (7) r4c8; => - 7 r14c5; stte

That's not a kraken elephant gun, merely a split path Magnum 44 :D.

I just would suggest
2. 4r3c9 - 4r7c9 = (4-5)r7c8 = 5r8c8 => r8c8<>7

... and if you want to do us a favour, please mark the cells somehow in the grid.
