Step (d) is redundant and incorrect, as it implies a placing at (d). The placing of a red 3 at r5c6 is immaterial to the solution, and cell (d) should not be referred to at all. In the spirit of CW, unnecessary comments should be avoided.
The third red 9 placed, at (c), is enough to complete the deletion of 9r5c6, as is clear from the diagram. Once arrived at (c), the reason for stopping there will soon appear to the vigilant observer.
