March 11 - Fiendish

I've only started doing these things in the last week or so - but I think (hope!) i've completed today's - Am I right in thinking there are two possible solutions?

Is this common?

March 11 is the first fiendish puzzle I've completed too (flushed with success, I'm now struggling on March 4)...

From what I've read about Su Doku, I don't believe it is possible for puzzles to have two solutions. Having said that, some people seem to think it is possible, so I think until Mr Gould offers us a definitive answer there will still be an element of uncertainty.

All Pappocom Su Doku puzzles have, according to Wayne Gould, only one possible solution. Non Pappocom puzzles can have more than one solution, however.

I thought the 2 and the 8 on the 1st and 3rd rows could be swopped over - without giving too much away

Doh!

I copied it onto paper and misplaced the 2 on the 7th row - so I haven't solved it

Oh well - maybe next week?

Can someone post the original puzzle?
