Please use 'code' tab rather than 'quote' tab.

A little more information would be helpful.

Since there are six items A-F I'll assume you're trying to complete a 6x6 magic square.

Code: Select all
.  .  .  .  .  .
.  .  .  .  .  A
.  B  .  .  .  .
C  .  .  .  .  .
.  .  .  .  .  D
.  E  .  .  .  F

This is one way.

Code: Select all
F  A  D  B  C  E
E  C  F  D  B  A
A  B  E  F  D  C
C  D  A  E  F  B
B  F  C  A  E  D
D  E  B  C  A  F

MCC my friend,

I'm bothered by these 3 points:

Point one:
What you made was a LATIN square, not magic...

Point two:
What made you so sure that the original grid zamorac69 asked was what you posted and not the following?

Code: Select all
         A
   B
C
         D
   E         F

Point three:
What stopped you from making a 2x3 or 3x2 sudoku instead?

(As in my case, boredom is the answer...:( )

I knew that I would be wrong whatever I did, I'll was giving zamorac69 a chance to correct me and to supply more info.

Nothing stopped me, I just did not think of them.

Dear MCC,

Reading back my last post 3-4 days later, seemingly I was in a particularlly foul mood and haven't polished my tone too pleasantly... And I apologize for that...

Tidying up old PMs the other day brought up the good times last year when we were together battling fiercely at the Renogaze puzzle... Time surely flies...

Looks like zamorac69 won't appear again too soon... So the mystery stays...

All best,
udosuk

Udosuk, I understand and forgive you, we all have those days when we need to 'vent one's spleen'.

I do believe that both myself and udosuk have reached the end of that particular puzzle.
Unless any further questions have been added.
