Thank you - and thanks for the new submissions. It seems that our methods are quite different: Your approach mainly from the low end, gsf's firm grip in the middle, and my efforts from the upper end.

Thanks. A good start for the minimal 31+ puzzles. Or is it the final word? We now have minimal 3-steppers with 31, 32, 33 and 34 clues. Tables updated.
