In line with JC using pattern overlay method: All valid patterns of 2 include r8c6 so this can be made equal to 2; stte
Another approach to this is:
When the 1 at r8c6 is true, the 2 at r2c4 is both true and false, so 2 at r8c6 must be true:
chain 1 = (2)r8c6 = r8c5 - r6c5 = r4c4 - r2c4
chain 2 = (2)r8c6 = r8c5 - r6c5(r2c5) = r6c3 - r2c3 = r2c4

Interestingly, there is a Multifish with 17 eliminations:
12 Truths = {125R2, 125R4, 125R6, 125R8}
12 Links = { 5c1, 12c3, 12c5, 1c7, 5c9, , 2n4, 4n2, 4n4, 6n8, 8n6}
which does not solve puzzle

Can't see something else here. So my chaining variant:
2r6c5=r6c3-r3c3=r3c5|[r4c3-r45c4=r46c5] => -2r128c5

Eleven, I don't follow. I don't understand the last term, which appears to say that either 2 is true in r3c5 or the short chain in brackets is true, but I don't see what that gets you. The short chain is always true, but is meaningful only if you know that 2 is true in r4c3, and you don't know that it is. In any case, your elimination of 2 in r2c8 is incorrect.
