Sudoku easy to hard by W Shortz vol 2 p 77

I am goin nutz...All I can find is a 6 in the upper left box, and a 6 and 8 in the upper right.

I am getting dumber and dumber as time goes on.
Can anybody give me a strategy for getting another number?
I do not want to look at the answers

I'd guess that not many people here will have that book. If you could pust the puzzle you're stuck on, I'm sure we'd be able to help between us.
