When you want a break from letters and numbers in your Sudokus why not try using the Appearance option (F2) in the program and change the fonts used by the program to Symbol or Wingdings and play with some strange characters for a while

If you really want to confuse yourself you could use different symbols for clues, big numbers and pencil marks
