Well I'm an idiot. i just noticed that my solution is wrong in many ways. Please disregard my question below.

I got the following from www.websodoku.com and printed it out to do with my wife. i think that I finished it, but at the end I had 4 cells that could either be 5 or 7. I find that once I pick a 5 or 7 for any one of the cells the others fall out, but then it looks like there can be two solutions. I'm sure I am missing something. Help me see the light.

(The reference you gave showed easy to evil puzzles, but none looked remotely like yours.)
