Is it ALWAYS I mean ALWAYS

Postby Niklas73 » Sun Sep 25, 2005 12:30 pm

...possible to see where a digit should fit in. Im stuck with a Killer puzzle and I located som pairs (by that I mean for instance a 2 and a 5 in a row). Two possibilitys. But is it always possible to tell or could one take a chance sometimes?

Another question. Could U get me some easy tips except for those printed on the sudoko page. Some tricks of your own pherhaps?

Check out the other topics in this forum for tips if you want them. Sometimes it depends on what kind of a player you are. By the way, if you want some tips that aren't here, check out:

Niklas

If you are solving Pappocom puzzles or Nikoli puzzles then no, you don't need to guess - but you can if you want to. Anybody else's puzzles may require guessing, they may not (I don't know because the only puzzles I do are Pappocom's or Nikoli's).

Guessing is a hotly debated subject on this forum and as such is really personal preference. The beauty, imho, of Pappocom and Nikoli puzzles is that you are offered the choice.
