impossible sudoku to solve

Postby motoaspes » Wed Mar 01, 2006 2:58 pm

hello
I have found a sudoku that I considere the hardest I have ever seen on the face of the earth and of the moon (and may be of mars too).

I dont now how to put it grafically, so I ask you expert to do it for me

. . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . .
. 5 . 3 2 7 . 6 .
------------------------
. . 3 9 8 4 7 . .
2 . 5 7 3 1 6 . 8
. . 7 2 6 5 1 . 3
-------------------------
. 2 . . . . . 3 .
5 7 . . . 3 2 8 6
. . . . . 2 . . .

can you show me specifically in this case, what tecnics do you use to solve it pls

ciao a tutti

That puzzle has many, many solutions -- "too many to count" according to Angus Johnson's Simple Sudoku. I doubt anyone will want to fool with it.

gsf's solver says 19812 solutions:)
A puzzle with 2 empty rows in a band cannot be unique (you always get a second solution by exchanging them)
