Please let me know if I am missing the obvious . . . .first. Then give me a hint.....please. I have always felt that logic would prevail and guessing was not necessary . . . ever. Am I mistaken?

Obvious: Take a look at column 9. Digit 4 has only one place to go.

Hint: Check cell r9c9. Which digits could possibly go in there? Do the same check for the cells in row 4.

What is the only number that will go under the 7 in the 7th column across?
