I can't see all of the puzzle at The Daily SuDoku

http://www.dailysudoku.co.uk/sudoku/index.shtml

Has a new feature: a big giant "News" blob that blocks the right third of the puzzle.

So I guess everyone has a technique for seeing under that blob.

Mind sharing it?

It doesn't block it for me, but I can see that it would in a lower resolution. I guess you could click on the puzzle and get it as a pdf...

Happen to know who I could report that bug to?

Sites should work on all resolutions.

Also, PDF's are a pain. Any way to get it as a plain TXT file, something like this:
Code: Select all
3 6 7 - 4 - 5 9 2
9 5 2 3 7 6 4 1 8
8 1 4 2 5 9 6 3 7
- - 8 6 2 - 7 5 -
5 - 6 4 9 - 2 8 1
- 2 - - 8 5 3 6 -
6 4 3 9 1 2 8 7 5
- - - - 3 4 9 2 6
2 - - - 6 - 1 4 3

How about if you look at it in the Archive? It has one less column of stuff on the page, so the whole puzzle might fit?

Hey, Genius! That works fine. Thanks a lot.

Solves MY problem, but I still think the mistake should be corrected and would like to know how to contact the site designer. At the minimum, they could post this in the blob:

"If this blob covers the right third of the puzzle, go to ARCHIVE and find it there instead."

Even better, reduce the size of the puzzle. There is no point in such a big one.

I just maximized the window and it uncovered the puzzle.

I had tried that - no help - even used "full screen"

But based on your input, I tried again and changed font size to smaller (I have it max big for bad eyesight) and it worked.

Thanks, even though I still thing it is poor site design.

Errk! So I saw it and copied it down and solved it in 2 minutes using no advanced techniques. It is marked "very hard". I say a bit above "medium".:(
