Hi Rliu.

The only places for "6" in row 8 are in box 7, so all others "6" can be eliminated from this box, leaving a hidden single in box 1, which solve the puzzle.

You're right! Thanks for the hint.

BTW, I have made a mistake on r9c7. It should be "178" instead of "8". This does not affect the hint you provided, however. I have corrected it in my original post.
