Hi. I stumpled upon this site

few days ago and got very interested in this whole Su-doku thing. I attempted an easy one and got stuck quite badly. What is the best way to learn/start this game (e.g. flow of logic, the methodology, etc)?

I printed it out and then write down the remaining numbers on the side of the grid and the bottom of the grid. Sort of by elimination. Any experienced players care to share some pointers? TIA
