True!:D Did you use Simple Sudoku to post the initial grid - it's a very easy way of copying candidates. The programme is free and available here.

Before you submit always preview the grid to make sure the columns are lined up - they won't look lined up in your post but they must do in the preview box.

Code: Select all
*-----------------------------------------------------------------------------*
 | 2       8       4       | 19      5       19      | 3       6       7       |
 | 356     36      9       | 7       38      4       | 258     125     125     |
 | 35      7       1       | 6       38      2       | 58      4         9     |
 |-------------------------+-------------------------+-------------------------|
 | 1346    5       36      | 129     13469   1369    | 7       12      8       |
 | 13468   346     2       | 15      134678  135678  | 9       15      1456    |
 | 7       9       68      | 125     1468    1568    | 256     3       12456   |
 |-------------------------+-------------------------+-------------------------|
 | 356     236     356     | 8       167     1567    | 4       9       256     |
 | 4568    246     568     | 3       4679    5679    | 1       7       256     |
 | 9       1       7       | 4       2       56      | 56      8       3       |
 *-----------------------------------------------------------------------------*

Two original clues were an 8 in r7c4 and a 3 in r8c4 which have mysteriously disappeared in your candidate grid. Put them back in and see how you go.:D

HInt : look for naked pairs.

you used TABs to align the columns in Word - that won't work in the Forum - you must use the proper number of SPACEs to align the columns
