I got this far with this puzzle but now I'm stuck. Can someone tell me how should I continue and of course the reasoning behind the solution? ThanksImage

Right off I see two Naked Pairs and a Unique Rectangle Type 1, at least two out of three of which are sufficient on their own to solve the puzzle (along with singles).

You can learn more about naked pairs at http://sudopedia.enjoysudoku.com/Naked_Pair.html.

I know about naked pairs but in this concrete case they don't seem to help. Also where is the unique rectangle ?

There is a naked pair in R5C17 which allows you to eliminate 78 in R5C23.

The unique rectangle type 1 is in R14C78 and allows you to place an 8 in R4C7.

There is another naked pair in R9C48 that eliminates 18 in R9C26. This step isn't as useful as the other two.
