Help with a very hard puzzle

Postby wdouglasla » Mon May 29, 2006 5:08 am

This puzzle was generated by a computer program. I know all of the answers to this point are correct but of course don't know if the pencil marks are correct. I would think that enough information is filled in that it should be fairly straight forward at this point but I can't see the next move. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Since you have a 4 in r3c2, you can eliminate the one in r6c2. Then in row 6 both remaining 4's are in box 5 (therefore cant be elsewhere in that box) and you can eliminate 4 from r4c4 and r5c6.
