I have tried all my tricks and this is as far as I got.

Any help on what comes next and how you got there would be apprciated.

I'm told by Simple Sudoku that this puzzle has 10 solutions. However, as a next step if you still want to continue, would be to carefully check the possible locations for 3.

You probably copied the puzzle wrong or the editor had a typo. Start all over, but first make r9c4=7. That gives a symmetric puzzle which has an easy solution.
