Hi everyone. new to the forums, and relatively new to sodoku.

Ive completed medium difficulty puzzles and skipped to advanced/extreme ones, but now im stuck.

Ive used some advanced techniques for eliminating, but I still don't see which techniques I have to use to finish the rest of the puzzle ive attached.

Im also kind of confused on w wing, swordfish, jellyfish, unique rectangles, and whether they apply here.

Most of the online sites are absolutely terrible at explaining the EXACT way to follow a procedure, especially what DISQUALIFIES a certain method.

Please help me out

This puzzle is fairly easy from this point, we call it singles to the end, because the only techniques you need to complete the puzzle are hidden and naked singles.

Start by asking where in block 1 can you put an 8?

That technique is called a hidden single.

hahaha im so retarded.

i dont even feel like this a technique, because this is obvious to me and i wouldnt have gotten this far without it and more complicated elimination techniques.

Im not sure how I missed this...Really embarrasing.
