Hi Zealot.

Welcome to this forum. There is a naked quad in column 6.
After that, an advanced technique is required ("simpler" techniques like X-Wing, Swordfish, XY-Wing are not applicable here), for example, a simple nice loop.

Hi Zealot,

choosing 39 as a hidden double in column 6 may be simpler. The next step as Carcul mentioned would be an advanced technique.

Thanks a lot for all your response. I am still new to the name of the techniques and I have been solving puzzles still with my own methods. So the methods you have been mentionioning to solve the puzzle are going over my head. If possible...an elaboration to solve the puzzle would be a great help rendered and a great boost to me. Meanwhile I will see whether I can go ahead with the suggestions mentioned.

Thanks again,
Zealot

Hi zealot,
For some basic solving techniques click on HERE and HERE. Make sure you understand about naked and hidden "singles, pairs, triples" etc. and "Locked Candidates (1) and (2) before you get into the more advanced techniques. Good luck with your homework.
