I hand generated this small puzzle with the solution first, removed some numbers and still hope that I have only one solution.

I solved it pretty quickly, and yeah, the solution is unique (I'm pretty sure).

Yup, puzzles like that do exist and have done for quite some time. If you want to find some I'd scan some of tso's posts, as he's referenced quite a few. Sadly, as I'm a disorganised type, I can't just point you to the correct threads. Sorry.
