Halloween special - announcing a new online sudoku site:

FiendishSudoku.com posts five new sudoku puzzles each day, ranging in
difficulty from Easy to... Fiendish! There is an archive with
hundreds more puzzles.

The site includes an online solver that can give hints and solve one
step at a time with explanation. It can also show pencilmarks, check
for validity, and it supports multiple undo.

The grid can be displayed at three different sizes, so those of you
with high-res displays don't have to squint at a tiny grid.

Puzzles can be printed from the main page or you can use the Print...
button to print at one of five sizes.

I haven't tried the puzzles yet, but it's cool that all the puzzles each day, despite being different difficulties, have the same pattern of clues.

Great site, and the Fiendish puzzles require X-wing to solve as well!

It's not often you get a daily puzzle that requires techniques as advanced as X-Wing (not in any paper anyway, except for UK Sunday Times!).

Now all we need is a daily super advanced puzzle that requires chains/colouring! ;-)

I am looking at the puzzles. the one rated "moderate" is about the same as the ones rated "difficult in the times.

I cnnot guarantee this because my solver is playing up. It kept giving me 15's and things so i fixed it and then entered the "hard" and it gave me an 11 in one of the boxes. I need to fix this and so will run the other puzzles through it later

Lots of people post new websites on these forums and the problems with most of them are that their puzzles are too easy. Ilike this one
