Hi folks
During the last lockdown I didn’t know what to do with my time, so I created a free Stradoku app called Guriddo (グリッド, Japanese for grid).
What started as a small programming challenge has become a time consuming (but still fun) side project that regularly keeps me up too late at night. At the moment Guriddo has around 300 active players, so If you enjoy playing Stradoku-, Kakuro- or Nonogramm-style like number puzzles, I urge you to give Guriddo a try
Below you can find two games to play as examples to see if you enjoy the puzzles:
Stradoku/Straights rules
* Place a number from 1-9 in every white square.
* Numbers within columns and rows must not repeat.
* Every straight line of horizontally or vertically connected white squares must contain a number sequence (e.g. 2-3-4-5), but order does not matter (e.g. 3-2-5-4).
* You can't write numbers in the gray cells.
* Some of the gray cells contain numbers. Those numbers are not part of a number sequence.
Features
* Everyday I release a new puzzle (daily challenge)
* Track your solving time and compete against other players
* There are 5 different difficulties (easy to diabolical)
* A Weekly challenge that should be very difficult (genius)
* Packs with hand-selected puzzles (e.g. for beginners)
* Guide with solving strategies
You can download it for free at the official app stores (no advertisements, etc. included)
