For those who aren't familiar with it, the Google US Puzzle Championship is coming up in just under 4 weeks. The test has some sudoku puzzles on it (last year, a toroidal variant and a digital sudoku) but also a range of other "language-neutral" puzzles. Anyone - even those outside the US - can enter but a main purpose of the 2.5 hour test is to select the US team for the World Puzzle Championships.
While I've been aware of this championship long before the sudoku boom, I thought that some of those who have just gotten started on logic puzzles via sudoku might appreciate sampling some of the past years' tests and competing this year.
Go here for more information and to register, and for all those who compete on June 17th, best of luck.
