What went on here, my program gave it a rating of "moderate" and i finished it is under 5 minutes using only hidden singles and naked singles, a fiendish puzzle should be feindish.

Well, not 5 minutes but it was straightforward. I was probably affected by having mucked up the Killer and I also have to do the crossword before I get to work!

i mucked up the killer too, i hate those ones with an intermediate time like 20 minutes.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who usually HAS to do the Killer, the Difficult or Fiendish and the T2 crossword (and have a go at the Polygon!) before going to work.:)

Cathy, Not the T2 but the main Crossword. However, as I have been doing these for over 40 years now, it is rare for it to take more than 20 minutes. It all eats into the available puzzle time before work though!:D

Now I definitely couldn't tackle the main crossword before work as well:!: Occasionally I have a look at it and manage about two clues - usually the more obvious anagrams:)
