 7       9       148    | 468    5     b146    | 3      2      48

Couldn't see a one stepper, so
DP r13c16 => -1 r13c6
then (9=1)r2c6 - r9c6 = (1-8)r7c5 = (8-9)r2c5 => -1 r2c6; stte

Doesn't (1)r7c5 and (1)r2c7 create a DP(15)r13c16,
then either r7c5=8 or r2c7=8; => r2c5 <> 8
I don't know you guys consider this a one stepper or not..

Good work 7b53. I agree that if r7c5=1, (=>r2c5=8, r2c7=1), then one or other of r13c6=1, leading to the DP. Therefore r7c5 must = 8. I don't think you need to involve r2c7=1, and additionally I don't see how this leads to the DP since r3c5 can still =1.

PS I take that last statement back, since if r2c7=1, r2c6=9 and 2c5=8. Therefore r7c5=1 and r3c5 <> 1. So either r7c5=1 or r2c7=1 causes the DP, so both can be set to 8.

I suppose it's a bit late but :

Code: Select all
1 r2c7                              - 1 r2c56;
1 r2c7 - 8 r2c7 = r2c5 - (8=1) r7c5 - 1 r3c5 ; => DP (15) r13c16 => - 1 r2c7

Good work goes to Phil and Leren..
I called it a one cell DP..but guess no one like that term.

My logic was... -(1)r23c5, -(1)r2c6 = hp(15)r13c6 => DP
therefore, (8)r7c5 = (8)r2c7
