The 26 June Telegraph accidentally replaced the 2's with X's.

Scrose, you are talking about the UK's Daily Telegraph, I think? Not Sydney's Daily Telegraph. I thought I'd clarify that, as it might be confusing to Australians in this forum.

The UK one is Non-Pappocom, the Sydney one is Pappocom.

Yes, I was referring to the U.K. newspaper. Although this is the Australian forum, I thought gbung was asking about any newspaper in general. I thought my hyperlink to www.sudoku.org.uk would be enough to indicate national origin. I apologise for any confusion I may have caused.

ok thanks folks thought I had lost it!!!!!
Also has anyone tried replacing the numbers 1-9 with the letters A- I.
It makes an interesting side challenge.

If you download the Pappocom software, you can also use coloured shapes instead of numbers.
