I was looking for skyscrapers & kites and found that the 59 chain running from r1c1 to r9c9 eliminates both these candidates from r9c1, leaving that cell solved at 4 stte.
Would you call this a Double X-chain since the same chain eliminated two candidates from the same cell?

That move can be viewed as Remote Pairs. There is an article about them here.

You could also view it as a double oddagon with a single Guardian 4 in r9c1, which must be True. Oddagons/Guardians is somewhat obscure and not often used move. There is an article about Guardians here.
