"Grouped" is a possible property of the core pattern nodes/links themselves, while "Extended" and "Transport" both mean there are extra nodes. So, they're quite different and both (or maybe all?) can be used at the same time. Thanks for reminding, by the way. The correct name (imho) for your move is actually "Extended Grouped W-Wing". It's "Extended" because there's an extra link in the middle of the pattern, and it's "Grouped" because of the grouped (
EmR) strong link in box 5.
If one or two ERI(s) is/are used as strong/weak link(s) then may I always use extended prefix for all moves?
No. Only if the total number of strong links is more than three (in a wing), and the extension is in the middle of the pattern (i.e. the end points and the elimination logic remain normal). You can have EmRs in non-extended wing patterns as well. In both cases you should use the "Grouped" prefix if any of the EmRs are indeed grouped (i.e. not simple bilocation strong links). If the extension is not in the middle but appended to one end of a normal pattern, then it's "Transport" instead of "Extended". That said, I don't think there's much of an official standard for these.
By the way, just look into my another solution using basic XY-Wing with same ERIs links as Transport move. Is it also called extended XY-Wing Transport or Grouped XY-Wing Transport or simple XY-Wing Transport?
Good question. I'd just call it what you did, i.e. "XY-Wing Transport". "Grouped" would refer to nodes in the wing pattern itself, and XY-Wing can't even be grouped (only applicable to bilocation links, and it has none). So, even though the "Transport" part has a grouped node, I wouldn't put it in the name. It's also not extended because (as per my definition) it would mean that there's at least one additional link between the XY-Wing end points (which would make it an XY-Chain, and it wouldn't make any sense to call it "Extended XY-Wing").
PS. Maybe "Stretched" would be more descriptive than "Extended"?
PPS. Don't get confused by the "Grouped" in StrmCkr's solution. There's nothing grouped there. It's probably there just because Hodoku calls ALS nodes "grouped" as well, which is very unfortunate.
