I have a vague recollection that it was advisable to look for UR Type 2 before UR Type 4. Eliminations outside the UR pattern for Type 2 didn't conflict with finding the UR pattern for Type 4 afterwards.

Thank you for the clear classification. I agree that in a not so easily solved puzzle it may yield more eliminations to do the type 2 first.
