The Daily Mail's CodeNumber puzzles are sudoku-lookalikes but they are not Pappocom puzzles:
1. They have more clues per puzzle than a comparable-difficulty Pappocom puzzle.
2. The clues are not distributed symmetrically but are scattered irregularly across the grid.
3. They have been known to have alternative or multiple solutions (23 Nov 2004, 10 Feb 2005).
Pappocom does not supply puzzles to the Daily Mail (UK).
