My preferred path would be a two stepper:

Not to be outdone, following Cenoman's XWing and pointing pair of 6's, here is another doubly linked ALS-XZ Rule Loop for 11 eliminations :

Code: Select all
*--------------------------------------------------------------------------------*
| 2       4       689      | 5       679     7-16     | 689    b16      3        |
| 3       5       69       | 8       2469    124-6    | 269     7       69-1     |
| 689     7       1        | 3       69-2   a26       | 4      b256     5689     |
|--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------|
| 579     13      2459     | 6       2347    247      | 2579    8       1459     |
| 679     13      2469     | 124     5       8        | 2679    234-16  1469     |
| 567     8       2456     | 124     2347    9        | 2567    234-156 1456     |
|--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------|
| 58      2       3        | 9       68-4   a46       | 1      b45      7        |
| 1       6       7        | 24      248     5        | 3       9       48       |
| 4       9       58       | 7       1       3        | 568    b56      2        |
*--------------------------------------------------------------------------------*

(246) r37c6 - 24 - (12456) r1379c7 => - 16 r1c6, - 6 r2c6, - 1 r2c9, - 2 r3c5, -16 r5c8, -156 r6c8, - 4 r7c5; stte

 *---------------------------------------------------------------*

Blocked SK-links: 69r2c3, 69/12-12/56 in b3 and 56/34 - 34/78 in b8, 78r8c3.
(You can construct a loop, but it would be artificial to avoid a contradiction, at least with AIC, while it is immediately clear e.g. that missing of 69 in r2c79 leads to 78 in 3 cells).
So for me it is a pattern, which needs no additional notation and you can make the usual SK eliminations. Common pairs are fixed to the 3 or 4 cells and can be elimimated in the rest of the box/line):
r2c56<>69, r8c45<>78, r56c8<>56, r7c9<>4, r9c7<>3; stte

We had the same with one SK link in puzzles d.pat.1/3.
As we know we can have it with 4 boxes, building a big loop.
Also 3 are possible, but i have no sample.
