Hi

Is it possible to solve a sudoku using a system of 81 linear equations in 81 unknowns: a Cramer system ?

Thank you

No. You could make 27 equations in 81 unknows because the line and box restraints give you sums of 45. I don't know where you're going to get the other 64 equations from.

If sudoku was that simple it would be boring:!:
