    thanks,
    that matches my path,
    4 X-wings + 2 triplets (+ some lesser moves)

    making it 6 times "superior"

this chain taken us around the world... :lol: (little joke)

ok... combinig this and SudoQ's elimination r8c2<>1 = stte
(5)X-wing r68c27
(5)r8c2 = (5)r8c7 - (5=67)r78c9 - (67=23)r9c78 - (2=4)r9c3 - (4=1)r7c3 => r8c2 <> 1

Nice find. The point is, that 5r8c7 implies 2r9c78, because the 9 in r7c8 then blocks the other 2.
5r8c2=r6c2-r6c7=(5-29)r8c7[=9r7c8]=2r8c78-(2=4)r9c4-(4=1)r7c3 => r8c2<>1

Thanks,
You can also view r8c7+r7c8 as a potential (29) hidden pair.

I guess I didn't notice enough X-Wings. After Wings on 5 and 9 I was left with the above.

(9=5)r8c7-(567=23)r78c9r9c78-(2=4)r9c7-(4=7)r9c4-(7=9)r3c4=>r8c4<>9
