can't figure out circular sudoku

Postby jeannie » Fri Nov 25, 2005 11:21 pm

[/b] I just recently became addicted to Sudoku and I went out and bought my first book. In the book they have included a circular sudoku that uses the numbers 1-8. its set up like a bullseye and there are 8 circles and then 8 segments in each circle. I cant seem to figure out how to solve it. The directions say it is supposed to be easier but i am having the hardest time with it. If anyone has any suggestions or has done one of these sudoku puzzles, please HELP!!!

What book had the circular sudoku puzzle, because I haven't heard anything in this forum on this new type of puzzle:!:

To answer your question, I guess that all segments must contain the numbers 1 to 8, and each circle will also have to have this property:?:

If its like sudoku, it may have a 3rd constraint, classic sudoku has the box, column and row constraints

If you could post the puzzle here, someone will have a go at it, and give you a hint.
